Description

On the occasion of World Environment Day, in Pula Youth Centre on Friday, June 5, 2026, starting at 11:30 am, an exhibition of student works titled "Art as a Voice of Nature" will be officially opened.

The exhibition is the result of creative and research work by students of the School of Applied Arts and Design Pula (ŠPUD) and the Technical School Pula, who spoke through art, ecology and civic engagement about the importance of environmental protection.

Students from ŠPUD will present mobile sculptures inspired by nature, made of recycled and found materials. The works were created on the teaching of Plastic Design under the mentorship of prof. Sanja Simeunović Bajec, in interdisciplinary cooperation with prof. Iva Juršić.

Students from the Technical School Pula, as part of the project "School and Community" (ŠiZ), led by Iva Juršić and with the architectural mentorship of Jane Prević Finderle, explored the area of Prague. Through drawings and models, they offered sustainable conceptual solutions for transforming this space into a place of meeting young people and staying in nature.

The event is hosted by Pula Youth Centre under the leadership of Danijela Panić. The exhibition remains open to the public until 18 June, and organizers invite citizens and media to support this praiseworthy initiative of Pula creatives.
